One of the objectives of Fundación Patagonia Sur is to encourage the protection and conservation of unique ecology and wildlife in Chilean Patagonia.

Fundación Patagonia Sur has two objectives related to social and economic development:

To promote social development and educational opportunities in Chilean Patagonia;
To support local economic development and regional planning that is environmentally friendly and sustainable.
